Savjeti za vrijeme socijalne izolacije i karantene

Svaka osoba reagira drugačije na stresne situacije, kao što je u ovom slučaju izbijanje zarazne bolesti koja zahtijeva socijalnu udaljenost, karantenu ili izolaciju.

​

Ljudi mogu doživjeti anksioznost ili strah koji se odnose na:
  • privremeni prekid rada i potencijalni gubitak prihoda i jamstva za zapošljavanje
  • potencijalni problem nabavke potrepština, kao što su hrana i predmeti za osobnu njegu.
  • zabrinutost dali se učinkovito brinete za djecu ili druge osobe koje su ovisne o vama 
  • nesigurnost ili frustracija o tome koliko dugo ćete morati ostati u ovoj situaciji, kao i nesigurnost o budućnosti.
  • samoća povezana s osjećajem odsječenosti od svijeta i od bliskih ljudi.
  • ljutnja ako mislite da ste bili izloženi ovoj bolesti zbog nepažnje drugih ljudi.
  • dosada i frustracija zbog toga što ne možete raditi ili sudjelovati u rutinskim svakodnevnim aktivnostima;
  • vaše zdravstveno stanje i zdravstveno stanje drugih ljudi koje ste možda zarazili
  • ogorčenost koju vaši prijatelji i obitelj mogu doživjeti ako moraju ići u karantenu kao rezultat kontakta s vama;
  • nesigurnost ili ambivalentnost o situaciji
  • želja za konzumiranjem alkohola ili lijekova kako bi se lakše nosili sa situacijom
  • simptomi depresije, kao što su osjećaj beznađa, promjena apetita ili problemi sa spavanjem
  • simptomi posttraumatskog stresnog poremećaja (PTSP), kao što su opsesivne uznemirujuće uspomene, flashbackovi (ponovno doživljavanje događaja), noćne more, promjene u mislima i raspoloženju i sl.

Kako si pomoći


BUDITE UPOZNATI S RIZIKOM
​
Budite svjesni stvarnog rizika da zarazite sebe i ljude oko vas. Javna percepcija rizika u takvoj situaciji često je netočna. Mediji mogu stvoriti privid da su ljudi u neposrednoj opasnosti, dok je zapravo rizik od infekcije vrlo nizak.

Uzmite u obzir činjenice:
Budite informirani o tome što se događa i nemojte non stop gledati i slušati medije jer vam to samo povećava brigu i stres. Zapamtite da su djeca osobito osjetljiva na ono što čuju i vide na televiziji. Koristite pouzdane izvore informacija o epidemiji zarazne bolesti

EDUCIRAJTE SE
Zdravstveni djelatnici i stožer za civilnu zaštitu trebaju pružiti informacije o bolesti, dijagnozi i liječenju. Nemojte se bojati postavljati pitanja jer jasna komunikacija s liječnikom može pomoći smanjiti bilo kakvu nelagodu povezanu s društvenim udaljavanjem, karantenom ili izolacijom.

NAUČITE SE OPUSTITI I NOSITI SA SITUACIJOM
  • Dopustite tijelu da se opušta svaki dan na način na koji vam najbolje odgovara npr. tehnikama disanja, istezanjem, meditacijom ili molitvom i sl.
  • Nagradite se nakon napornih i stresnih aktivnosti 
  • razgovarajte o svojim iskustvima i osjećajima sa svojom obitelji ili prijateljima
  • Ne gubite osjećaj nade i pozitivnog razmišljanja; razmislite o pisanju dnevnika u kojem zapisujete stvari za koje ste zahvalni ili koje idu u dobrom smjeru.

POVEŽITE SE S DRUGIMA
Povezivanje s ljudima kojima vjerujete jedan je od najboljih načina za smanjenje anksioznosti, depresije, usamljenosti i dosade tijekom društvenog otuđenja, karantene i izolacije.
Možete koristiti:
  • telefon, e-poštu, tekstualne poruke i društvene medije kako biste se povezali s prijateljima, obitelji i drugim ljudima.
  • Razgovarajte " licem u lice " s prijateljima i voljenima koristeći Skype ili FaceTime.
  • Koristite internet, radio i televiziju kako biste pratili lokalne, nacionalne i svjetske događaje.
