What Europe House Vukovar Does

Europe House Vukovar, founded in August, 2000, is dedicated to the integration of Croatia into the European family of nations and peoples and to the reconciliation and reintegration of the people of Vukovar and eastern Croatia.  The organization attempts to implement this goal through providing a wide variety of information and activities on a diverse range of topics.  Among these activities is a lecture/round table series.  Round tables occur at least monthly and include topics such as integration into the European Union, non-toxic agriculture, economics, and health. The Eko-Sana Project, run by Dr. Ljiljana Gehrecke, teaches people to work on their own health.  This project has been enormously successful, reducing the incidence of illness and dependence on medication considerably.  Other projects have included work on non-toxic agriculture and work on art and dance in which people of various ethnicities have been involved.

CWWPP Involvement With Europe House Vukovar

The CWWPP has been involved with Europe House Vukovar formally and informally since its founding in 2000.  The two organizations have coordinated policy have had discussions on new programs for the area.  The CWWPP has participated in some of the Eko-Sana seminars.  Currently, there is an agreement to work together on the Field Institute/Synagogue Center Project, along with The Bench We Share Association and the Jewish Community of Osijek.
