Profile

Charles David Tauber, M.D.

Head of Mission for Southeast Europe

Dr. Tauber was born and raised in New York City.  He graduated from Reed College in Portland, Oregon USA in Physics and obtained his medical qualification from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.  He has done a number of courses in the mental health of migration and psychological trauma.

 

Dr. Tauber has worked with non-governmental organizations since 1966 and with refugees and asylum seekers since 1988.

 

He is a member of the World Psychiatric Association’s Section on the Consequences of Torture and of the European Association for Psychotherapy’s Working Group on Forced Migration.

 

Dr. Tauber has been the Head of Mission  since 1995.

 

Robert Strk

Administrative Assistant and Lay Therapist

Robert Strk was born in 1969 in Vinkovci, Croatia and studied in Zagreb and Osijek.  His studies were interrupted by the War.  

Mr. Strk has completed a course to be a peer counselor to other veterans.  He  has been volunteering with the CWWPP since February, 2004.

Sandra Maric

Institute Initiator and Coordinator

smaric@cwwpp.org Ms. Maric was born in 1964 in Zagreb, Croatia and completed a masters in Sociology at the University of Zagreb. 

She has taught at the Gymnasium (advanced secondary school) in Vukovar and has worked as a professional in a children's home in the region.

Ms. Maric joined the CWWPP in September, 2006.

Sandra Pantic

External Liaison Officer

spantic@cwwpp.org Ms. Pantic was born in 1979 and grew up in Vukovar.  She completed a B.A. in Theology at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek.

Ms. Pantic has completed the core course in counseling and NGO work given by the CWWPP.

She has worked with the CWWPP since December, 2006.

Nenad Manojlovic

Researcher and Lay Therapist

nesho80@cwwpp.org Nenad Manojlovic was born in 1974 in Vukovar.  He has been involved with non-governmental organizations since 1997, when he also worked with the CWWPP.

He has completed the CWWPP's core course in counseling and NGO work.

Sasa Ostojic

Assistant

ostojic.sasa@cwwpp.org Sasa Ostojic was born in 1977 in Osijek and grew up there.  He has been volunteering for us since February, 2005.
